Holland and China
Although New Thoughts services exporting Chinese small- and medium sized enterprises primarily, during 2011 she was appointed as the organizing party of the Holland Pavilion at the Canton Fair by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands too. New Thoughts recruited Dutch companies and brands for the Holland Pavilion at the Canton Fair and provided a one-stop-shop for the participants: From booths to press-conferences. Mr. De Jong, CEO of New Thoughts, has many years of extensive world-wide marketing experience and an impressive track-record. He has held positions as a Managing Director, Sales Director and Vice-President Sales & Marketing for European and American companies in Europe and Asia for more then ten years now.
He received his Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, The Netherlands (1994), was accepted and registered as a member of the association of business information scientists (VRI) in The Netherlands (1995) and received his Master Degree in Business Administration from BSN / International Management Centers, United Kingdom (1997) with credit.
 
Building his own business in The Netherlands Mr. De Jong was awarded a nomination (1999) for innovative entrepreneurship by the Chamber of Commerce. And a year later (2000) he was mentioned as one of Hollands most "Remarkable Businessmen" as published in the book with the same title by the Foundation for Best Business Practices as published by Wolters Noordhoff.

Mr. De Jong does business in China since 2008.
Next to his commercial activities for New Thoughts in China, Mr. De Jong has been affiliated with the School of International Studies of the famous Sun Yat-Sen University of Guangzhou where he tought marketing, international sales and management organization a few hours per week for about a year. He's regulaly asked as a guest-lecturer by Universities other organizations in China and abroad. As he states: "my modest way of helping to improve marketing professionalism on the longer term".
Mr. De Jong provides most of the Entry-Level Services - and teaches most of the Training & Workshops personally. He's also heading the Strategy & Planning - and the International Sales and Customer Service departments of New Thoughts.
In his consultancy practice Mr. De Jong specializes in in Brand Strategy and developing strong international Marketing Channels.
Mr. De Jong works from the marketing proverb "narrow your focus and dominate your markets". He is confident that Chinese brands will conquer the world the next decade and is proud to be one of the "marketing mercenaries" that will facilitate this development.
